A UV Neon 13th Birthday Extravaganza!
Back in October last year I was delighted to be commissioned by Julie Craven to organise her daughters 13th Birthday party which took place on Saturday 9th February, at Eiger Studios in Leeds. After an initial meeting at the venue with Julie and Sienna, it was decided that a UV Neon themed event was the perfect choice for Sienna to celebrate in style with her friends.
As the party planner, Julie requested I went away and researched a variety of options to create the UV neon theme and provide the perfect entertainment for her daughter's party. I presented Julie with a document which outlined all of the research and ideas I had found to create the UV Neon spectacular her and Sienna were so excited about. On confirmation of the services chosen I started work on managing the following services:
Source UV decor - I arranged a range of UV decor including UV reflective stretch lycra, balloons, blacklights, tape and confetti and UV rope lighting.
Decor build - I designed the event and managed the decor build with my team.
Sourcing and managing contractors on Julie's behalf.
Liaison with the venue on Julie's behalf.
Managing the event safely, ensuring best practice and H&S legislation was met by all parties.
The event saw the fantastic DJ Nen, entertaining the kids with her energetic party games and music, as well as bringing the bubbles which looked fantastic against the UV black lights.

Katy and her team did a fantastic job dressing the venue in the UV neon theme and helping me to coordinate all of the plans for the party.
