Supporting Experience Vintage Events

Since summer 2018 I have been delighted to have supported James and the rest of the Experience Vintage Events team with my freelance event manager services. Experience Vintage Events host unique and exciting 1920's speakeasy events across the UK enabling those in attendance to experience what a speakeasy event was like during the height of the American prohibition era.

My first event for the team was at Harrogate at The Majestic Hotel back in August 2018, which I undertook the role of event manager. Since then I've been up to Newcastle to the wonderful Assembly Rooms in October 2018 and then most recently last week!

My role supporting the team has required me to:

• Manage the event running order, acting as artist liaison to the compare, band, entertainers and dance troop, ensuring the event timings always run to schedule.

• Liaise with customers to handle any complaints or incidents to ensure all guests are happy and resolutions are met to a satisfactory standard.

• Meet and greet guests.

• Liaison with the event venue.

• Managing the event PA, ensuring a smooth change over across the event programme.

• Managing a team of staff.

For the Newcastle events my fiance and Business Development and Health and Safety Manager, Craig has joined me, undertaking the role of entertainer/actor, playing various characters and entertaining the event attendees.

James has been delighted with the work undertaken leaving a shining testimonial after my first event.
